I know John wasn't the biggest, but he doesn't have the history Nicole has. Nicole still has a stigma around her, sad but true, it was already miracle US radio slowly warmed up to Right There back in the days.
And John had some minor succes in the US with Love Me Again #30 and his album even reaching #24 on the album charts. Nicole on the other hand has been releasing songs since 2007, with only RT being a minor top 40 hit in the US and without any album release to give her some kind of fundament. John was basically unknown and had very succesful songs and featurings globally (and recently in comparison to Nicole), which makes it easier to be attractive along with Calvin's name, than nicole is.
I love out girl, and I wouldn't be supirsed if Calvin would produce a song on her album. But since Calvin isn't releasing albums, a featuring with Nicole seems less likely than more unknown people and big stars. Nicole is basically in the middle of that. I am just being realistic, I would DIE for her to feature. I mean in 2011 it would be more likely for her to be featuring on big singles by DJ's rappers etc. than it is now.
