They have two charts that look at both - Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales. Nicki will debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 (album sales + streams + digital tracks) and either #2 or #3 on Top Album Sales (TPP and Pentatonix's sales are very close).
I swear if Taylor wasn't selling that much everyone would be praising Nicki.
Not everyone can sell 200k+ (250k+ if you include streams) nowadays. Slay, Queen of Rap! Selling as much as most of the pop girls (Taylor should be excluded since she's in another level)!
Anything to downplay her though...

The only reason because Gaga she is a pop artist. And besides she had an album that had huge debut sales once. Why compare a hip-hop artist to a pop artist. Pop artist tend to sale more than hip-hop artists. And from my understanding TPP debuting at 251K is pretty good for her to be a rap artist.

Wow many gaga stans are really bothered. I get that they were dragged when their fave sold more with less promo, singles released etc but I don't recall the barbz being the ones shading Gaga the most. I thought it was the katy stans and beyonce stans??? my goodness
