That last round had me sweating. I thought that my entry might have been a bit of a bummer so I included the Katy reference to lighten things up a bit, and because she actually nails the exact feelings I wanted to talk about. I would like to say thank you to all of the judges especially Igor for continually believing and supporting the Mix. I can't believe I even got them into the top 10 after being at the bottom at just the first round.

Also, I want to thank all of the contestants for being such great sports and for voting fairly and rightly at every point, it's really amazing how y'all make this little game a home and comfort zone to some of us and continue to encourage us through some tough times and issues.

I want to thank Anna for bringing up such amazing rounds every time and I finally want to thank Pedro for even creating this game...you're KILLING it!

I find it funny how I knew I was still in because of Pedro's PM about Round 9 before even entering the thread

Just goes to show how I'm so MIA from ATRL when I'm in school. The spring semester started yesterday.

Little Mix though and that two point difference between me going and VDK going - that really sucked. I take it Lorde managed to find another person to takeover?

Anyways, I have a feeling this round will be my last one since I'm the closest to elimination. I'll try my best this round though. There's still a small glimmer of hope since the points between me, Shakira & Kimbra aren't that big. It's still possible for me to make it, but I'm not going to be surprised if I leave next round.

I'm glad Igor understood why I sent in what I did. His critique was the main one I had to worry about to be honest, so I made sure I explained why I sent in YHIAM as clearly as possible. I'm glad it paid off. My scores weren't perfect, but considering my lowest score was a 6.9, it shows my entry was still stronger than others and the public vote score showed that too since people weren't offing me.

I know which good song I'll send in for this round, and the bad song as well, but I'll focus on writing this later.

I liked having you here, I think you brought energy and attitude and your presence was always fun. And yes, you made me like the title song Salute. It's so fierce and catchy.

Yes, it's so close to a 7, and it's really a high score to this round's standards. It's not a weak entry by no means. I'm really happy you're still in. Good luck for next round.

Yes! I didn't know much of the albums in the Top 10 when we started this season, but I've grown accustomed to each of them as rounds went by. I now know what they stand for, their themes, sounds, genres, styles and so on. That's one of the reasons I love this game, we discover albums and artists. And Shakira has been striking me as the caring, loving, heart of the family for a while now. The fact that you explained this in your essay hit the nail right on the head and I was really happy to finally write about that.
