"Oh Mother" isn't about being a mother, but about her dad abusing her mom...........................again. But it's still a beautiful & powerful song so that covers the fact that she has recycled the concept.
btw, donīt wanna be a moodkiller, but i think itīs taken out of the blue that sheīs shooting a video to oh mother...
i think itīs for the DVD, releasing a new single now would be pretty strange, altho i love oh mother, and it has had a very positive feedback among non-fans (reached #15 in switzerland airplay whitout being a single!)....i agree i like it also b/c of the more subdued vocals, like i love "whithout you" and "loving me for me"
