There is not even content in that terrible forum that you obviously frequent apart from chart info and other statistics..
All users are practically the same because they all follow the same rules which limit their expression.
The use of gifs in posts here are practically used in place of emoticons.
Most gifs usually emote a certain feeling.
Whether it's a gif of a girl that is angry, or someone falling down a set of stairs (that comes with the connotation that the person thinks said post is painfully funny, or that they're finished with said poster).
You know what they say, a picture's worth a thousand words.
The implications of the gifs are not something you need closed captioning for unless you're really puerile.

This was a decision made by the administrators. The mods had no say in the decision whatsoever. If I had a say in this, I would have immediately spoke up and said no. But they didn't ask us.

What's done is done, I guess.

I never said that. Ofc, there also offtopic threads like the whole The Lounge section, but it doesn't make it better to post GIF's without any real content.

And i am aware, that many members here are posting their emotions through these GIF's... But many are also overusing these things... I mean okay. Post your gif as much as you want. But how about some content in it, your thoughts, your ideas?
