They are clearly not here for her poppiness any longer. The album has been losing awards, but Mean (her "most country song ever") is snatching them despite mixed responses from critics.

If she cares about these album awards, she'll take the hint and make her albums more traditionally country sounding. If she doesn't care, she'll continue doing as she wishes.

Quite frankly, it seems like Taylor has already begun moving out of the realm of "album artist" and into the realm of "world-class entertainer." Up there with the Springsteens and the other greats.

Ya know what I think would be really good for ha? To give an acoustic performance at one of these award shows, ala the covers on the Speak Now tour. It would earn rave reviews, I think, as it's where her voice shines and it covers up some of her obvious vocal flaws.

I know that Ours at the CMAs kinda fits that description, but, I mean with a better song than Ours.

Happy for queen taylor. Although, Speak Now officially losing every album nomination it had on awards show is so so unacceptable. I would've accepted things if Fearless traded its accolades to Speak Now as SN is FAR more superior.

Anyway, any link for the performance? And how was it?

Edit: oh, Speak Now won country album on BMA and AMAs. Not bad.
