Well that's not the point. I think Hilary wants to capitalize on the current good will she has with the general public. With music, she's doing that on her own and atm success is not as concrete. She needs something like a good role to continue the love and create buzz for her music.
We have to remember, Hilary has always been a businesswoman, so we have to think like her sometimes.
And why would your friend be playing practical jokes like that at a time like this.
