Aim for 2500 calories. I'd say you need 2000 to maintain your weight and if you want to gain weight you'll need to aim for a surplus of about 250 calories. Don't focus too much on carbs & protein. Just make sure your eating your meats & vegetables and your protein intake will be fine.
300 gr of protein a day? I don't have the money to buy protein shakes
You don't necessarily have to drink protein shakes. There are cheap forma of protein bars. Just look at the calories, protein, etc. Tuna is a good form of protein. Eggs also are.

Breakfast: plantain flour porridge, 1 egg with meat and cheese
Lunch: yellow peas, rice, chicken, salad, soup
Apple
Cheese and banana

I've put on so much unnecessary weight lately. I just eat whatever is a available for me to eat. I don't even consider what the consequences are. Therefore I'm gaining fat in all the wrong places....

Have been SLACKING the gym lately. Only because my gym subscription is almost ending and I have to find a new gym soon. I've still gone at least once a week, but still. I've come to a point where if I don't go at least twice a week I'll start feeling super bad. I'm signing up for this new gym somewhere next week I hope.
