I'm getting into Fijación Oral lately and it's so good shame on me for ignoring that album for so many years. I really have to try "Dónde Están los Ladrones?" too. I don't speak Spanish so it takes longer to connect her spanish albums

Sale el Sol is better than She Wolf, I agree.

SW sounds better when you revisit it after a while. You realise how fresh the album sounds.

She Wolf has bops and stuff but doesn't really work as a body of work. That being said, I can't hate it because it gave us three of the best songs ever: Why Wait, Did It Again, and Men In This Town, so...?

The Long Time - Why Wait - Good Stuff run is kind of laborious, I will say that, and Gypsy should have been earlier on in the tracklist, and maybe She Wolf shouldn't have been the opener but then I don't know what would have worked better.

It was the first Shak-era I truly experienced, though, so...

She was was her last cohesive album, it was so well written and produced, it was exactly what it wanted to be. SES is a good album but it needed to be polished, some songs sound like demos. "Shakira." is a boring, unfocused mess.

Rabiosa is so much better.
