Maybe you should make your concept a little more solid. I have over 300 songs on my iPod that fit that genre, and a lot of them are pretty popular in the EDM world.

Why don't you take the really big stars and put them head to head? Say, David Guetta vs Calvin Harris vs Avicii vs Tiesto vs Armin van Buuren vs Swedish House Mafia? (Give or take a few of those, the list goes on with successes like deadmau5, Skrillex, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Eric Prydz, etc.)
