I LOVE Nicki doing hip-hop, it's where I can really feel her. Even not being my preference, I love her pop songs too: Super Bass, Va Va Voom, Masquerade, Muny (half pop tbh), Girls Fall Like Dominoes (kinda).

But the dance/europop Nicki... I still can't swallow. Those tracks are fun, danceable, well produced, club bangers, but I'm not impressed with them and that's the first reason why I'm disappointed with PF:RR (whose original concept was a full hip-hop album with angry lyrics all over it).

I still love her and I'm still an admirer of what she already released on the industry tho.

when she says pop nicki, I think of SB, GFLD, VVV & stuff like that, so I think that's what she means. pop nicki doesn't automatically mean generic redone type of songs, I'm not worried. unless, that is the case, then she will continue to lose more fans including myself.

For every old fan she loses because of her sound, she gains a load of new ones elsewhere.

she also loses album sales im almost positive the next album will have little to no electro/dance/house music in it.

Nicki Minaj isn't US-only. Whatever sales she loses in the US, she will more than make up for in all the other countries she's now big in BECAUSE OF HER POP SONGS.

I actually think the complete opposite to you - her next album will be mostly pop, with a couple R&B and hip-hop tracks. She's found her lane and her angle, it works well with her image, and she (should and probably does) likes the new fans it brings with it. She'll do some sort of mixtape for the older fans, and then rightfully forget about them.

She's the next Rihanna/Katy Perry/Gaga. Accept that's her role in the 2012 Global Pop Spectrum, and stop holding her back.

but i want her to make an album full of hiphop to show she still has it , i want her to get that 90 metrocritic score , THEN in the 4th album if pop is still in the she shall go ahead and give us half an album of pop like this :l
