omg. please stop. its like history repeating itself since idnhu peaked at #20 on hot 100 too. NO WAY! I can see it doing as big as already gone having much recurrent airplay on both hot ac and ac. I'm just a little upset that hot ac has not jumped in the bandwagon yet. it's the follow up of a #1 hit single on hot ac so i thought the hot ac channels would be playing dark side like crazy already.

Have y'all ever thought it's Kelly that doesn't want a fancy, expensive video? When has she EVER been one to be flashy? Even her best videos (All of Joseph's) haven't been high budget, just very well executed.

Besides, Adam needs every bit of help - Kelly doesn't need to rely on big budgeted videos to do well.

I agree with most all of this. I do think the strategy for radio has been very smart but I would have tweaked it just a little. The radio adds date for Dark Side should have been the day after the BMA's like Katy's. And there really hasn't been much promotion for the videos but that's okay with me. Dark Side is getting tons of views.

Well RCA still held back the album for too long time after it was finished, even Kelly didn't know when exactly it was coming out....and they let half of her album leak months before a release.
But I admit that promotion wise they treat her much better this era (except those low budget videos ).

We should see a bunch of adds coming in this week and next week on both Top 40 and Hot AC so I think this will surge soon.

The #30 song on the Hot AC chart right now has 467 spins so I'm expecting Kelly to reach Top 30 status in probably 2 weeks.

122 is the bullet, not how many spins she got last week. Since this is its first week on the chart, there are no numbers for last week, hence all the "--".

Well it makes sense... Maybe it was good then when we look at it from this angle.
However they should avoid any leaks her next era.
