I see we're all in agreement about this smash
Would love kelly to risk the song as a single, since she loves it so much she'd give her everything to see it do well
I honestly think that the entire era after Dark Side is a risk. Dark Side is becoming a hit for sure.
I Forgive You, You Love Me, Let Me Down and The War Is Over are all radio friendly and have potential to become a respectable hit but they are all risky.
I Forgive you can easily become Hook up 2.0 You Love Me might be too different in this electronic/dance age. Let Me Down is 5 years late, I can't remember the last time a song intense like this entering the top 10 ( I think Never Again was the last or one of the last to do so) The War Is Over is pretty repetitive and doesn't have a instant hook like the rest.

This will either be Kelly's MTN or a repeat of BOY. I hope it's the latter.
Is it just me or does LMD sound incredibly dated now-a-days? Idk I just can't get into the song at all since the demo.
Nope it's not just you.

I read that but didn't know if you just meant it was 5 years late because of the intensity of the song or if it really sounded dated to you like it does to me.

Both to be honest but In my post I meant it sounds dated. The song is really intense. And intense songs don't do well on radio anymore.
It's sad to know by now that radio won't support let me down.
Part of it is because it sounds exactly like something that would have been on Breakaway. Secondly is because it stands out on Stronger in a bad way. Production wise it's dated. Nothing on radio sounds like it and if it did, it's on one of those stations that plays music from the early 2000s.
It doesn't sound out of place on Stronger to me at all. The production is really well done too and does have some electronic parts to it. I just don't see the same risk you guys are seeing.
in relation to earlier posts, I'm not too sure sometimes if I wanted Kelly to release DLMSY
there is no doubt about the song's brilliance, but it would be really straining on her voice is she were to do heaps of promo to support it in a short period.
i guess looking back 2010 she wasn't that good figure-wise
