Honestly the X Factor is just so disorganized it's a mess. At least AI, The Voice, and even the X Factor UK appears to have their **** running smoothly.

And what does skipping two weeks really do to the schedule? What's the difference from having two weeks of repeats for a regular scripted program?

10 weeks of live shows mean that only one person gets eliminated every week (or two if they have a wildcard or a Top 16).

8 weeks means that we will have multiple weeks of double elimination, which screws over many contestants.

It seems like FOX is the only network that aires the World Series so unless they starting airing on a different network, X Factor will continue getting screwed over and we'll end up with double eliminations almost every season.

MLB has a contract with Fox. I think FOX beat out other networks to be the go to network for nationally televised games. I forgot until when it ends but i do think they renewed the contract.

the problem is xfactor came when in usa there were already american idol and the voice.Three talent shows in one country are too much!and xfactor will always lose because the voice is much more established in Usa(and they are in the same period) and by the way xfactor lacks of something "different" or "new" to grap people attention!in europe is different, xfactor came first!

I think X factor should've came in 2010. Or at least run in the summer.
There's no American idol nor the voice.
Plus it always seems so disorganized. You'd think that after two years of messing it up, they'd figure out how to keep thing under control but no. Is a good show but it has a lot of flaws that are really noticeable.

Plus all the bad publicity the show got even before it started. The 20 million comment and the firing of the person who could've been the star...cheryl Cole. And all the failed judges that have been hired afterwards.
Maybe a schedule change and a network change would benefit this messy show because fox schedule won't help at all.

anyway the voice is much more entertaining and focused on talent !it's obvious millions of people prefers to watch it instead xfactor!even judges comments are more professional ! probably because on the voice panel every judge have "something" to teach ...on xfactor seems like the only one who can give constructive comments (from singer to singer) is Kelly, Simon is not a singer , Demi is young and Paulina i don't know , she has a long career but her comments are so generic , she could give more surely.

In your opinion but I think XFUS is more entertaining and has better talent. This is the strongest talent for the XFUS series

So? Nobody knew Paula Abdul or Simon Cowell when they started Idol and look at them now. America will fall in love with Cheryl. If I remember correctly her episode in Season 1 was a positive reaction from the US audience same thing happened with Louis Walsh in season 2. Its all about having exposure and getting America to know you.

Did u read?? COULDVE been. She showed signs in the earlier days. Critics and people who watched the show wanted more of her. U can do some research and look urself for receipts. Judges are best on voice, but it's a karoake competition and contestants are fugly.

Format is best on X factor, but the judges and desperate production value are horrendous.

Talent is best on Idol, but it seems outdated and caters to old moms.

The blatant producer manipulation is horrendous, the producers have an agenda and the judges act accordingly, Paulina is pretty out of place though, she seems smart but language is proving a big barrier

If I were to use one word to describe the production value for this show, it would be disingenuous. Contestants come in during auditions with such distinguishing looks and unique voices, and then they're physically changed to look like a modern pop star and sing their songs with distracting background crap. I get a whole Hunger Games vibe from this show..I'm not a Simon Cowell fan at all anymore.

Basically XFUSA's problem is Siomon (he thinks he is enough to carry the show and misses the point that the judges as a whole are the stars of the format.
