So many opinions, so many thread bans I would like to do for them but I'm appreciating the opinions
The show needs to come back now! Not in less than 23 hours!

Sibling Betrayal, Lots of Blood and More Scoop from Vampire Diaries' Midseason Premiere
When The Vampire Diaries returns from hiatus (Thursday, 8/7c, The CW) characters will leave, new ones will be introduced, and one relationship will have a very significant encounter — and that's just in the first episode. Check out six tidbits from "The New Deal":
Everyone is on edge: As far as Elena and Co. are concerned, Klaus, who they attempted to kill, will return at any moment ready to strike back and everyone is acting paranoid with every step they take.
Someone reverts back to their Season 1 behavior: One character has come a long way from their early attitude but that behavior rears its head yet again.
Someone gets slapped: A confrontation between two major characters ends with a good ol' slap across the face.
There will be blood: Expect not one, but two bloody, cringe-worthy scenes.
Someone is absent: One of our beloved Mystic Falls residents is absent from the entire episode and that same person's significant other is not very happy with them.
More than one sibling betrays another: The heart of the series may be the brotherly (and brotherly/sisterly) bonds, but more than one of those pairs will so something that takes advantage of their trust — even if it's done to protect the other sibling.

Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham Dishes on Tonight's OMG Return: "We're Gonna Come Back Hard!"
Quote:
Finally. The Vampire Diaries is back!
And in case you're wondering, tonight's episode does contain that romantic OMG moment I hinted at weeks ago, along with some fantastic stuff for Bonnie (Kat Graham). Say it with me now: Holler.
We chatted with Kat herself, who promises tonight's episode "so great" you'll be "sitting in front of it like [the show] never went away…We're gonna come back hard!" So what about her relationship with Jeremy? Her mom coming into town? And a possible rift in her friendship with Elena (Nina Dobrev)? Read on…
First things first. Without revealing too much about what goes down tonight, you should know that Bonnie and Stefan will have a lot to do with each other, and that's something Kat is supremely happy about. "I was like, 'Oh yay, I get to work with Paul [Wesley]!' And then I started really thinking about how the character might feel…" And the repercussions on her relationship with Elena. Kat says she knows how the new Stefan-Bonnie development will affect her BFF-ery, but says coyly, "I'm not telling you!" You know what that probably means: Some shiznit's gonna go down, people. At least, that's our guess.
Also in the troubled-relationship zone: Bonnie and Jeremy, who already are on the splits, and have yet another (greater) obstacle coming their way. "She is going to be forced to deal with her feelings about him [spoiler omitted—we can't say!] and what that means to their relationship, if they still have a relationship or where they're at."
We'll soon meet Bonnie's mother, and Kat tells us she's "like a kid in a candy store" to be getting this backstory. "[Bonnie's] mother was out of her life for 15 years and…her father didn't really want to be involved in any of this mess. They've still yet to introduce him so them bringing in the mom before the father is for a specific reason and it really makes sense for the storyline and what they need right now
When asked what she'd like most for Bonnie this season, Kat doesn't hope for a Jeremy/Bonnie reconciliation or Bonnie/Damon hookup (more on the future of that in the next chat, Bamon fans!), she just wants a nice, juicy, stake.
"I want to see Bonnie stake someone!" Kat tells us. "She's never staked anyone, she's kind of like done the energy thing, or she'll move somebody here or give them migraines, but I would love to just stake someone."
At the top of the list? "Klaus!"
Get in line, sister.
Cancel your evening plans and get ready: The Vampire Diaries returns tonight on the CW.

'The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham: Could Bonnie hook up with Klaus?
After taking a backseat for several episodes, Bonnie and her witchy powers are back in full force when "The Vampire Diaries" returns to The CW on Thursday, Jan. 5. Zap2it caught up with Kat Graham to dish about all the exciting things coming up for her character.
The only obstacle: Not spoiling too much about upcoming episodes. "I don't even tell my boyfriend anything," Graham says when we try to squeeze a little too much information out of her. "He's always like, 'What's gonna happen?' because I got him addicted to the show. And I don't even tell him a thing. He has no idea what's going on."
Here's what we did get her to share:
Quote:
Tell us about Bonnie and Stefan teaming up.
You know, it's kind of an odd pairing -- but then not so odd because Stefan kind of comes into a situation where he needs to turn to Bonnie for help. Bonnie is never really forced into anything, and sometimes I think it's perceived that way because she's such a sweet character. But this is a choice that Bonnie wants to make for the greater good of all, so she teams up with Stefan to accomplish that.
So she really weighs the options before entering into this agreement.
I think that with "The Vampire Diaries" you never know what's going to happen, and I don't think the characters necessarily know either. So you can only weigh so much, and then it might just come down to "kill or be killed."
The show always comes down to that, doesn't it? Elsewhere in Bonnie land, she was deeply hurt by Jeremy but obviously still cares about him. How is she dealing with the breakup?
Well, I love that it's a very human side to her. If they went kind of "all-powerful, unstoppable witch, fearless, fierce all the time," I think it would bore people and maybe have them turn against her. So the fact that there's still a pain there, that has kind of awakened her. It makes her human; it makes her relatable; it makes her real.
Will she be getting another love interest soon?
You know, I don't know which way they're going with it. I enjoy the pairing and I love that they explored a more sexual side to Bonnie. I love exploring that side of the character, but I'm also happy being independent and not necessarily being the character that needs a man. So I love that she's a little heartbroken right now and she's mending it solo. But I would love to see -- there's so many quote unquote 'shippings of Bonnie with everyone from, like, Damon to Klaus, so I think that really could go any which way. It just depends on what they are inspired to do with her.
Could you really see Bonnie with Klaus? It seems like she would have none of that.
No, I could! You never know! It could go any way. The fact that she wouldn't have any of it and the fact that she's anti-******** would also make for a strong pairing because it's that "hate you so much, kiss me" kind of thing. I believe that it could go any way with any character, honestly. If you have enough imagination and creativity and you do it without any holes, I think it could be done well.
Well, the writers have proven that you can't really predict anything on this show anyway.
No, no way.
Tell us a little bit more about Bonnie's mom coming to town.
They cast Persia White, who I've always loved and adored, as my mom, and she comes into the picture and I go on a hunt to find her and finally get to see her. It's intersting, that relationship. It's interesting to see develop, I will say that.
Is Bonnie guarded when her mom arrives?
I think Bonnie's guarded, period. I think she's always been guarded, even from the pilot. Guarded about accepting that she's a descendant from the Salem witches. Guarded about Elena dating Stefan. Guarded about Damon. She's always been written to be somewhat skeptical. So when her mother comes in, I don't think there's any difference there. I think that it's all about "prove yourself." There has to be a reason to why she hasn't seen her for 15 years, and you get to find that watching the show.
What else can you tell us about Bonnie's relationship with her mom?
I will say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and that what would eventually bring her back into Bonnie's life is not what you think.
Mysterious! So how is Bonnie's friendship with Elena progressing?
I think the foundation of their relationship is solid, but you will start to see some serious bumps come along where Elena is forced to make decisions based on the facts at hand, and maybe not necessarily the repercussions -- and the repercussions might be Bonnie. There are going to be a couple of bumps, and I don't know how deep those bumps are going to go or how high. You are going to see happy and sad, which I think is normal, but there are going to be certain instances that have never happened before that are going to happen this season with Bonnie and Elena.
