Ciara will chart higher on the HOT 100 than Beyonce this Era.. Mark my words.. People are loving the regeneration of R&B this year, and Ciara seems to be leading the pack so far.
Top 10 is extremely possible. based on the conception that she.
1. Promotes
2. Promotes
3. Releases a remix with a guest, just as it reaches its peak.
4. Gears up to drop the second single, with video news, interviews etc..
I can also see them bringing the release of Ciara forward if this continues as Body Party has cemented all faith that Ciara can still sell EVEN after 2 AWFULLY managed era's.. I was hoping for the 70 - 50 mark, but a top 40 debut! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!

Yes! She NEEDS to start promoting this on TV. She needs to be on Ellen, GMA, Jimmy Kimmel, etc NEXT WEEK! I don't think Epic expected this, but Body Party can go Top 10. She just has to keep promoting.

No offense to y'all, but I highly doubt BP will go top 10 We're lucky it got this far, no? I'd be happy if #35 was its' peak, honestly. It's not like this is going to be the strongest single of the era. It was to get the Urban crowd back on board: accomplished.

It won't be easy, but with promotion I think this could definitely go Top 20 and possibly Top 10 if a few mainstream stations spin it. Promise peaked at #11 (I know that was 2006 but still) and people are basically saying this is her best ballad (and song) since then so I think it could do just as good. If it stays steady on streaming, picks up a little in sales, and continues to rise on radio (urban and rhythmic - with a little mainstream), I don't see why it couldn't happen.
You're right though, this probably won't be the strongest single and was only intended for the urban crowd, but that was a pretty high debut and it seems like with a little push it could be a bigger hit than Epic (and everyone else tbh) expected and reach out to a bigger crowd. They should capitalize on this.
If I sound delusional, I'm sorry. I just really love Ciara and want her to succeed.

I have no doubt in my mind that there will be at least one single that will outpeak Body Party this era.
But out-performing Bey... I don't know about that. It's album #5 for both, though, that's interesting.

Yeah girl, Miguel, Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Emeli Sande, and Fantasia surely followed in her footsteps.

Yeah, I think a lot of stans are just really hype because of such a strong debut. Realistically, without the new Billboard streaming rules it wouldn't have debuted so high, probably around the 70s or 80s. "Body Party" got around 4.3 million views via Vevo, and however many total streams in the week accounted with its debut, I doubt the next chart update it going that strong so "BP" will probably drop into the 50s on the Hot 100 chart.

.
IT will drop, some stans are just hyped about what happened because it was unexpected. If it stays top 100 on itunes and we get a performance soon, it can reach the top 20 though.

Out of the girls, obviously.. And i wouldnt say Alicia Keys is R&B, well not like Ciara anyway.. Alicia is more pop/R&B.. There is no pop at all in Body Party not even close, and for it to have debuted that far up the HOT 100 is astonishing, so yes she seems to be leading the way. Lose To win is nowhere to be seen on the HOT 100, Fantasia is an album artist. She will have STRONG first week numbers and then fall substantially. and i cant really think of anymore female R&B females charting.
As for CICI.. It all seems to be about longevity. Body Party is rising steadily, and has peaked so high already. With hardly anything.
With promotion now, that peak could easily reach the TOP 10. WHICH, again for Ciara and a PURE R&B song is absolutely amazing in these times.
and yes..
Ciara will out peak Beyonce this era.. There is absolutely no hype, buzz, or actual WANT from the General public for Beyonce right now. She is fizzling out...

Ciara is doing great but I doubt she will out peak beyonce... Beyonce's songs (no matter how horrible) spread faster than any of Ci's... BUT Ciara is coming with Great material this time around... She may have more longevity this go round

Body Party got another 1mil views since Tuesday With it increasing on radio and staying steady on iTunes,
it should hold tight around the 50s mark on the Hot 100, if not higher (since we were ALL wrong last time )

One week ago, we didn't even expect it to debut anytime soon and now it's able to DROP into the 50's? That says a lot.

Of coarse the song is not gonna keep up to its debut. It's OK to floss, because this is Ciara's highest charting single since Love Sex Magic and for the song to be an R&B, this is a good look, most R&B songs don't debut this high.
It's obvious that this song is going to be slow burner, but if this song did this much damage just imagine how much damage a radio friendly song like "Overdose" will do?
