^ That's more on the basic side of what I'm hoping from Gaga, tbh.

I just want the ARTPOP material to be euphoric and epic, but in a futuristic 'sh*t, that production is insane' kind of way...not a 90s Ibiza way. I want it to be sassy, fierce and strong, with a 'IDGAF if you don't like this or me' attitude. I want there to be haunting, ice queen Frozen-esque ballads. If we could have some bonus guitar shredding and killer vocals on top of all that, I'd be on my knees.

I don't want conventional dance breaks and the generic 'do do do do do' bit as it kicks in. I don't want dubstep, brostep or popstep, and I don't want it to sound like any other bitch could have recorded it with Guetta, Calvin or Dr Luke.

I've been reading Gaga's comments about ARTPOP and it seems like she is unsure whether to go with an all out smash era for the album or whether she should do more personal songs that are special to her. Im sure even her more personal era would do well. Remember her favorite and most personal songs on BTW were mtn, teog, black jesus, scheisse, and y&I. so some of those were smashes.

Would you guys rather her have a huge smash era that isnt as personal to her and would maybe not have her favorite songs or would you want to have a big era but includes songs that have more limited appeal like black jesus?

ARTPOP can be a mix of those, she can put some smashes that are also personal on it. Actually, almost every song is somehow personal to her and the majority talks about Luc. Or she could put some not as personal songs that will be released as singles and other tracks that are personal.

I agree. However, I could see her dilema as well. For example, what if she had a song like just dance or lovegame(in terms of radio appeal and subject matter not sonically) and she also had a song like mtn or you and i(in terms of radio appeal, subject matter and personal investment not sonically), which would you rather her do? If I recall correctly, she did say there were fun/party songs.
