akfgwe same, I remember hearing it in a shampoo commercial and being surprised that Madonna still made music. I assumed she was kind of like Cyndi and just kinda...stopped sometime after her peak.

Although I remember seeing her in the edited AL video and turning to ask my dad what her natural hair color was, I hadn't ever seen it not be blonde before.

Also, the impact on 6-year-old me when I used to watch Tiny Toon Adventures

My first Madonna memory is Frozen on TV. I was almost 6 and she caught my attention in a way , I didn't understand .
I thought she was a witch as well and , I don't know, that part when she turns into black crows after splitting into 3 Madonna's + the segment when the black Dobermann stares at her hovering around in all blck plus definitely the end when the 3 Madonnas are back and the black ink leaks from her hands.....
I still remember being in awe watching all that

BUT, I only turned into a proper stan in 2005 with Hung Up , although the first album I ever bought was American Life .
