Almost every song on ARTPOP have weird try-hard and not appealing lyrics. As a fan, I like them, but I enjoy TFM (for example) more, they were so perfect (artistic and relatable at the same time), didn't she even won an award because of lyrics?

What I think is the problem here is that her expectations are not matching with the work she has been doing. I would not have any problem if she really decided to compromise her commercial success for doing whatever she wants, but clearly that's not the case cause all this backlash and putting her against other artists has affected her.

If she wants to keep selling lots of albums, singles & tour tickets, she needs to deliver songs that everybody would like, not just us and people that support her.

I think it is ok for her to use weird lyrics. But she should know when to stop. For example DOnatella has weird lyrics but i understand them and they are fun, heck even Venus's weird lyrics are understanable and fun. But the the heck does she even mean with Applause or JnD

I think Interscope cancelled the video because it was too sexual. From now on she should let the label approve of the concept beforehand. Basically treat her like a child (the way she manages her career since 2011 is very child-like anywayz)..

Gaga has lost her vision about what is a hit and what is not. A normal pop star would never push for a song like Dope. I mean... it peaked at #8 only because of the deal with YouTube. Terry has made music videos for other pop stars this year. In other words, he's a professional with experience. We should have known the DWUW video was never going to be released right from the beginning.
