Sorry if I came off aggressive. I just find it odd people complain about country or "something fresh" doing well on iTunes, yet continue to support and root for the same repetitive stuff. I don't think any of these country songs are any worse than some of the manure that has been dominating iTunes on the regular. That's just me.

I understand. But I've always been into pop music or whatever is in the top 40. Anything that is different is either something I don't like or takes a long time to get used to.. also for the fact that I was basically born into pop music anyway. First song I remember hearing was 'Wannabe' by the Spice Girls and the first CD I had was from them, and second was Britney's debut

Also I seem to always like songs that are hits on iTunes, radio, and such, and yet is hated by a lot of ATRL. For example, Party Rock Anthem, which is actually one of my favorites this year and possibly even of all time.

I'd say hip-hop did decently. Down On Me, Bottoms Up, and Look At Me Now were all main-stays in the top ten for quite a while during their runs.

I don't think rock's going to impact for a while. Linkin Park's soundtrack for TF this year didn't even scratch the Top 50, even though the previous two performed really well digitally (effectively netting them 2 Top 10 hits on the Hot 100) and Blink-182 and RHCP's much hyped comeback didn't even impact the Top 10, only did decently for the first couple weeks before free-falling like no other.

Let's hope No Doubt sweeps in and comes hard.

Yep, a lot of songs has recently been discounted including Jar of Hearts. It's currently at #8 ( Top 5 next week maybe).

-Little bad girl is #3, next weeks number 1 hopefully
-otis is #23, still increasing.
