The difference between Uncle and WWWY is that Uncle had promo (AMAs/video) and still failed to really launch like a Katy single normally would. WWWY still has yet to be promoted, so it could potentially go further. However, radio looks like they're not completely going to support it as they did with Hello.
I believe Uncle peaked at #10 on radio (which is WWWY's current peak).
It would probably be #1 now, but not by a lot and certainly nothing close to 250k

200k+ could have definitely been possible for WWWY, with the Grammys + Ellen in one week. That's not really absurd. It's all about timing.

There's no way to accurately know that, since we didn't see the performance of WWWY, it could have been a smaller boost or a bigger one... I'm just evaluating the neutral case.

WWWY would have been sitting pretty there.
