I signed up for that Shiny Mewtwo thing and will enter and do badly just to qualify for it, but to be honest I'd really like to try at least getting a team together of actual competitive Pokemon, it looks fun

I think they will have something better. I feel like the "whole interacting with your pokemon" thing will be a permanent thing from now on like trainer customization.
What species do y'all want some of the Pokemon to be based on? I hope we get many ice and ground types (the snowy mountain and desert on the last island would be perfect locations) and I'm expecting many water and grass types.
I'm not sure I understand the point of Zygarde forms being introduced a generation later but okay Gamefreak.
SM potentially tie into XY (they have been teased in XY already thus have been planned before XY's release)
Zygarde might have something to do with Lunala and Solgaleo (the colors in the chest do correspond to the colors of XY and SM logos)
