He means in a sense that "TBDT" was catchy and hit-worthy but they waited til the last minute to release, and instead stayed stuck on "Girlfriend" success. Just like PCD sticking on with "WIGU", still performing it everywhere they go, etc.

Luckily JIVE moves on. They didn't dwell on "Toxic" success, they moved right into "Everytime", and so forth.

come on, Everytime turned out to be a moderate hit for Britney, peaked #15 on Hot 100 which was great considering her previous album only had a top 30 hit Slave 4 U....and In the Zone had a top 40 MATM, top 10 Toxic, and top 20 Everytime, so it did well

and I'll stick with "Britney" as my favorite album, followed by Blackout, then Circus, In the Zone, Oops, and finally BOMT

It went all the way to #4 on pop radio. The only reason is peaked at #15 was that the Hot 100 in 2004 was basically the Hot 100 Airplay...Everytime was a big hit for brit.
