Yeah probably, the same thing happened with Eunji (A Pink) after Reply 1994 i think.

Do you remember 2PM's comeback song? it was a bland song
that's probably what made them flop in the first place
singles wise.
Quality doesn't translate to sales most of the time but the album did really good
considering they had a scandal and a long hiatus.
The point of this whole thing was that someone implied 2PM
won't be as remembered as other idol groups.
But they will every group has something that identify them
I think 2PM always made themselves unique among the idol groups
for their masculine and tough image with every comeback.
