What did you guys expect for GOT7...it was just going to be a 2PM 2.0 ever since they discussed their concept of being a martial arts based "Hip Hop" group but we all should of known the truth is it was never going to be that. Its going to be JYP watered down Juicy J rap style with 2PM style performances. The greatest positive though is they will get a huge fanbase based on their looks.

2PM wasn't a flop but they got overshadowed fast if you get my drift. When you think about the best boybands in KPOP of the 00s...2PM probably would end up getting forgetten or at the bottom of most people's list while SHINEE, BIGBANG , etc will be mentioned like crazy. They lost their power like the wonder girls.

Not sure if you even was around when 2PM happened, but they were big as ****, big enough to remain selling 100k+ even after that serious scandal with Khun.

i was when they first started with that show which was the 2 am vs 2 pm. Taecyon and Nickhun were my first KPOP crushes but as time went on, they dimmed especially in the Korea environment (kinda started around the Jay Park fallout)...Japan, they are slaying but that was my point. The Korea public isn't there as much for them as before. Let me rephrase into American Music because I can explain easier that way. 2PM is like Missy Elliot. Huge respected popular however overlooked. While SHINee is like P!NK and BIGBANG is like Beyonce. I'm not saying they are bad, i will glad you show you my itunes library full of every 2pm album there however, they have diminished.

Well that's pretty obvious, they had a big scandal and spent 2 years without releasing a single thing in korea... you expected them to get bigger?

Anyway, that's not the point i was going for, the point is that their peak was as big as any of the boybands you were listing. Their lack of popularity right now doesn't make their peak any less impressive than SHINee, BIG BANG, B2ST...
