Well unless your The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi's last 3 tours they have been charging really high prices, the Rolling Stones 'tongue pit' were a few hundred because they were meant to be sold as part of a VIP package, same with Bon Jovi's Circle Tour. Its being able to buy into a pit that people scramble for them. But even tickets for Britney Spears' The Circus Tour I spent $98 before taxes and all that for a standing ticket.
This is true, but unless they sell they're be put back onto Ticketmaster and be bought for the regular section price. I know that they've been moving fast but I looked for Toronto and they were selling some of the lower end VIP's and giving tickets near the back of the arena....... unless someone really wants to go and wants to avoid going to StubHub they might pick these up, but for almost $1000 that's pretty steep.
