Nope. JHud won for 2008 and this album got better reviews. She will be in there. Def ahead of Chris and Miguel.

Reviews don't always matter. That album by JHud is long forgotten. The R&B field has become to unpredictable.

BTW deserves it, no matter how much ppl dislike a few songs, say its sales are top heavy w/e... but honestly the album is a whole complex piece of work, together. Each song is made to fit in the album and each song uses unique elements that other songs arent currently close to..




But lets be honest... Adele's got in in the bag. I dont mind so much, most of her songs are beautiful.

Rihanna could edge out Katy with either California King Bed or Man Down if they submit.

I don't agree with you. The Grammy voters won't nominate "S&M."

And "We Found Love" just came out + doesn't have much impact at all. Plus it's extremely boring.

She'll miss out on the category this year IMO.... but I do agree with you on Jennifer Hudson getting nominated again.

Now that I come back and it's getting closer I honestly see Adele SWEEPING every thing. Like I don't see it for anybody. And as far as R&B cats go I don't know.. I'm guessing Bey will walk away with something.

What are the chances of J. Cole & Skylar Grey getting a nod for a Best New Artist?
With the Beyonce feature for J. Cole, I think this might favor him a nomination. Because I feel like this will be a top 10 peak. Especially with his high opening week sales; the highest rapping debut since Nicki Minaj.

Skylar Grey's feature singles sold alot this year.. So I was thinking of her getting a nomination. Even though "Invisible " didn't do well as I hoped.. . I still think the features bodes well for a nomination. This could help her 2nd single...
