Making her final appearance in my list is Avril Lavigne with the lead single from Goodbye Lullaby, What The Hell. After like four years since her last album, she came back last year with a new record. What The Hell reminds me a lot of Girlfriend, only a bit less upbeat. I didn’t really like the song at first listen but after a couple of plays, I found myself jamming to this song for a very long time. The music video is a mediocre, we see Avril on her pink highlights, being chased by her man all throughout the video after sleeping to each other in the beginning. The chase continues through the taxi cab, basketball court, clothing shop and finally at the club. Nothing special about this single though, it’s not comparable to her previous releases but it’s still worth the listen because it’s a fun pop-rock tune.

Making her appearance inside the top 50 is Rihanna with the beautiful ballad for California King Bed. I knew that this song will be released at some point and I’m glad that happened. The song uses metaphors talking about being together on the California King Bed but feels like a thousand miles away to each other. I really fell in love with this song especially the first and second part. Though this one was a flop in the US, it managed to be a success in other places. I bet you are jamming on this song whenever you are in a sentimental mode. This became another Rihanna song that can be easily sing with. The video shows a sexy scarlet-haired Rihanna singing with her man on their bed, which really fits the message of the song. Rihanna does sounds beautiful when it comes to R&B ballads, and if she can provide us with songs like California King Bed, I’m sure it will be another hit for her.

Appearing for the first time in my list is Irish band The Script with the title track from their second album Science & Faith. Last year, I had come to appreciate and love their music compared before. This song is not an exemption; their sound is really unique compared to the other bands out there. Their songs are heart-whelming and many can relate to the message of it. Science & Faith is a clever track; it talks about questioning what we believe when it comes to love. Lead singer Danny O'Donoghue argues that science is the reason why we all love but her girl in the song contradicts that it is faith by we love. Science & Faith became one of my instant favorite primarily it is a radio friendly track here in our place. Expect The Script on the next updates as I discuss how I absolutely like their music just like this single.
