Songs:
1. Pretty hurts (Great message and ok song) A
2. Haunted (Excellent production corny message) B
3. Drunk in love with Jay z (similar production, not liking talk rap...it reminds me of Rihanna a bit) B
4. Blow (Love the retro beat, great lyrics, giving me throwback blend of 70s and 80s beat) A
5. No angel (Wow it gave me a cappella Ciara promise mixed with an Aaliyah) A
6. Partition (I like the edge but this gives me a blend of throwback) B
7. Jealous (so she's given if i were a boy/yes theme I like the message but she's done it 2x before) A
8. Rocket (This BTCHHHHHHHH, she better effing do it) YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS A+++
9. Mine ft Drake (Great lyrics, great production...it started off a mess though) A
10. XO (Great lyrics, great production this is radio candy) A I guess this is the song better than halo A
11. Flawless (YAAAAAAAS got me turnt the eff up. I love the message but its nothing people haven't talked about just put to music) A

13. Heaven (Love the message it's overall ok...) B
14. Blue ivy (Aww this is cute...nice album closer) B
Overall A- I was at work today and finished my assignments so I was checking out my phone and I got excited because even non fans were praising this. I get it but I was expecting something innovative and groundbreaking. Great production but most of it sounds like throwback to another era. I definitely love the topics overall and this is a great body of work.
Top 5: Rocket, Superpower, Blow, Pretty hurts and Mine
All should be singles in addition to XO
Watching the videos clips from itunes:
Definitely love Rocket (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAS), Mine (beautiful but part 2 of her other concept), Blow, Ghost, Jealous (LOVE IT), XO looks fun, Blue (serenity), Haunted
On the fence: Partition ( I get Rihanna teas but I like it but not all the way), Superpower, Heaven,
(not impressed) Makes me like the song less: Drunk in love, No angel (90s try hard), Yonce (another try hard), Flawless ( she just doesn't do gangsta well...cringeworthy and it reminds me of Ciara for some strange reason), Grown woman (cute but nah)
Overall I was in a dilemma because the physical cd (which I prefer comes out while I am en route to Arizona on vacation and I wasn't sure whether I should just buy off itunes now or get it while in Arizona...I can hold out for another week. I don't feel the urgency but I most likely will buy it.
Well, it seems like the overall vision is refreshing and since I stopped stanning back in the b'day era I won't pretend or be fake and act like I'm stanning now like I noticed some people state. This does make me a fan again...
Good job Beyonce
... but not a masterpiece
WTF
I should learn not to based it off of stan reactions.
BEYONCE> B'Day>Dangerously in love> (the others)
I can't judge the other two (I am sasha fierce and 4 since I don't own them and I can't recall more than a handful of songs I first listened to when it first came out)
