It's not only about **** or nudes It's about the current state of this site as a whole, the sensitivity is way over the top. + You're ignoring the fact ATRL's main crowd are young homosexual males, and there's no children here.
This ain't Club Penguin or day care forum stawp it.

Whether you acknowledge it or not, exposure to that material to minors under 18 is illegal. ATRL has plenty of underage members. If you want **** that badly just go to a **** site. really.
Even though I feel that some of the language restrictions are a bit much, ATRL's community in general has improved in a lot of ways.
It's probably working out better metrically too. I think the 2014 members and their ridiculously high post counts are testaments to this.

I don't know what you're talking about, but getting abrasive when confronted with logic isn't a good look.

You were completely ignoring everything I was saying and putting your opinions above mine just because it isn't what you want.

Truth is, the forum was perfectly fine before, and there was no need in changing it especially the blogs area which are private. At least listen our opinion before making big changes like that. We're the ones paying for the server after all.

ATRL is not a ****ography website. You come here to talk about music news, discuss charts, share funny videos, talk about gossip, stan, discuss random topics from video games to sports to news, blog about your life, and play fun games. Nowhere does sharing **** fit into that equation.
I just don't understand some of you. You know ATRL is a music website for all ages, so why does it bother you so much that you're not allowed to post ****? Not when there's thousands of other sites, both **** websites to social media like Tumblr and Twitter, for you to get and share that type of stuff?

and the fact that people are actively fighting to post ****ographic images in a pop music centric community is just
I think you guys have done a great job at making this a fun, safe, place for members.
No matter how much I joke around about wanting NHB back.

& the same can be said with the Games, Blogs, and Lounge section.
Who comes here to play games? Who comes here to cry about being beaten in real life? & some of these Lounge threads, like when you were discussing on how global Nutella is...
And just because this forum has a specific topic doesn't mean EVERYTHING needs to be related to it, like damn.

But none of that is related to NSFW material, while all of it can be related to popular culture. In addition, NSFW content labels a site as somewhere that you don't want to visit around family or during work hours. As ludicrous as you may find it, that's when some people browse the site, and we'd rather not lose that traffic if it turns out that less than a majority actually care that there's a ban on explicit material.

1. **** can be related to popular culture, too. **** is popular, and a culture.
2. If NSFW is in Blogs, and in Members-only areas then it isn't picked up by those searches.

Um, he's being perfectly calm, stop. He's got a point, too - we can't knowingly expose minors to explicit content.

****ography is a pretty specific area of pop culture if you want to get technical, and it does not blend with the rest. There's a reason there are legal distinctions that separate it from other material.
But what about our members? What about the ad companies who can pull service from those pages or even the entire site, if it violates their policies? Searches aren't all of it.

No thanks, it's bad enough some of the stuff people say about pop stars in SYG but to be aimed at actual members

1) I just told you that there are pretty clear boundaries between it and the rest of pop culture, address those instead of copping out.
2) Let's see if the majority want it back. Let's just see about that, and then you can get back to me.
3) So? As companies still go by everything. On the site. If they know you're posting **** all over Blogs they can leave if they want.
4) Yes, getting new ad companies that cover the same costs and have the same guidelines is really that easy.
