I haven't read the comics yet, so I can't say anything. But in the show, she's alright. The only characters that ever irritated me are Carl, Lori and Andrea at Season 3.

I hated Andrea until her death. Same with Lori. Carl I don't really care about.

Queen Michonne still reigns supreme and slays everyone else.
