Lady can't be a flop because she is a new artist. We'll see that in the long run. I don't like her music but she isn't a flop yet.
I think her coming album will top the USA chart! But The Fame has no chance at all - It might stay in the top 40 for couple of months, but it won't re-peak.

There is no way Lady Gaga is going to overtake Britney considering The Fame is currently not selling too much. Over time the album sales may pick up, but right now? The Fame is no competition on the album charts.
I think even if you're talking about the singles, Womanizer is holding Strong at #2, and has a 70% chance to jump. But JD might top the chart in 2 or 3 weeks - It will be a struggle though, because her European Chart Run will start falling by then.
