Buy the Stars it feels like the most raw song about her relationship on the album. I love it. Lies is pretty raw too but the production brings it down a bit in my opinion.

I agree I've always thought lies would've slayed harder as a pop song if produced by kurstin or such. The YDO style verses are not my cup of tea. Lyrically it's a masterpiece though
I agree. The acoustic version was so powerful and emotional. But the instrumental on the album just takes most of the emotion away. Great song either way, though

I felt that way about starring role. Kinda still do. I enjoy the production now though but I always envisioned it to be this beautiful ballad and then it turned out to be a pop song. I still love it though
Can we acknowledge How To Be A Heartbreaker is probably produced by Dr. Luke? That is expensive enough to have me guessing her label really wants her to have a U.S. hit. She better get some promo (SNL).

I guess I shouldn't blindly trust wikipedia. But to me it sounds like Luke. I can't see it being Greg Kurstin anyways. His production is usually less "bouncy" if that makes any sense .

From the moment I heard it I knew it had to be DR. LUKE I'm not here for that being the 2nd single unless "primadonna" flops. If all goes well I want "radioactive" to be the 2nd US single
