Verifiability is far more important. If the methodology is decently documented (as is the case with the latter website) then you can apply it yourself and get similar results.

If some guy or some website makes a random claim with nothing to back it up, there is no way to verify it.

It bothers me that they try to seem credible but lose it all when they can't do a basic image search. I mean, it's hilarious at the same time but how can anybody trust what they have to say.

And then what makes it worse is that the thread was closed.

When you express yourself, it makes you target for more points. I think it's a mechanism used since 15 actives mods can't actively handle everyone who makes these kinds of rule-breaking comments.

Well it's true. The thread was made for members to come express their concerns over staff, points, etc. but the only answers they're getting are disgruntled responses from mods who clearly don't want their job. I mean help or ignore like the rest do, but being rude and telling people to leave because they're using the thread for its purpose isn't necessary.

Yes, so, I gots this problem.

I got this mod on my back, who I known was the person who banned me the two times I was banned. I saw their names in the thread(s) in which I got the WPs from, and I know 1+1=2.

Both bans of mine were for "pointless" posts. Biggest mess I've ever seen.

So many shade and drags that go unwarned, but I rack up these points for being "pointless". My shade doesn't even earn me WPs, and I've delivered some good shade.

So, anyways, I just got 2 WPs and I know it was from the same mod. It was in those LMFAO splitting up threads. EVERYBODY was celebrating and being happy, and I am the sole person who gets WPs for it.

I don't know why this certain mod is out to get me. I don't throw shade around very often, and just go off topic sometimes. Might I add with my last ban, I believe I racked up 3 or 4 WPs, all by this same mod.

What the hell do you want from me?

The Warrior album thread warning points were uncalled for.

The joking was not random or troll-ish -- it sensibly came from us worrying that too many people were getting advanced listens of the album. The members who frequent that thread and the ones who participated in that page were familiar enough with Ke$ha to know that we were joking. For example, VampireGrin's post, which earned him a completely unnecessary trip to ban land:

The demo version leaked a year ago, and that line is lifted from it. Clearly a joke that anyone who posted on that page would get -- it's one of K$'s most loved demos.

My post is a reference to the also well known Supernatural snippet, the only official snippet we have from the album. Again, anyone who posted on that page would know the "When you take my body to the stars, I believe it" line from that -- we've dissected and discussed that snippet daily in the K$ base for months.

I understand completely why the posts about download links were warned, even if they were also just jokes.

Anyone on that page would have known we were joking -- it's like the Army making a joke about Radar being featured on Brit's next album by revealing the exclusive lyrics "You're on my radar." It's being silly, not trolling.

I'm fine with my points, but banning VampireGrin for something that was clearly a joke four days before the single that we've all eagerly anticipated for 2 years now is cruel beyond need.
