Also Leona is a unrelevant party in this story. Leona can't do anything about the fact she got the role, instead of Nicole. Just like Nicole couldn't do anything about the fact Cheryl got fired back then during the XFactor USA. Aslong as we keep blaming an unrelated third party for descisions made, we will always have pointless discussions. The US producers made the descision, and if Leona wasn't chosen, they would have found an other artist to play the role. There is no reason to drag Leona. Nicole's image in the US is still very one-sided. She is still seen as a talentless sexy pop siren, who had a couple of random TV jobs and partcipated in some random TV shows. Even though Nicole's talent is what should be frontloaded, I can see the producers have taken everything in account. And I bet that Nicole and her team also have stated that she was offered the XFactor UK job aswell. I think they put everything into account, even unrelated/unrelevant reasons to decide against Nicole.
It's sad, and it is what it is. I mean even though I rather would have seen her adding Cats on Broadway to her achievements. I can't deny how excited I am about the huge possibility we get new music and maybe possibly even the album this year. That is the reason I started stanning for her, her music. We should leave this chapter behind us and focus on the positive ventures and things that are ahead for us as fan. There is no reason to look back at Cats while it is above our power and what's done is done.
