Wrong. Big Hoops was actually ahead of its time. It was fresh as well & people said "don't call it flop yet" and "I'm sure it will be a hit" too
But well I'm rooting for Fergie. If Interscope treats her right she will do well. But if they treat hr same as Nelly or currently Keyshia Cole, bye.

OFF Topic: Big Hoops sounds like it was perfect for todays Urban Pop landscape. Furtado, always ahead of its time ala Loose era...its nasal vocals though, makes it inaccessible for radio.

So true. The production is really amazing, the lalalalala is catchy and her flow is great. If this had been a love song, or even something braggadocious like Fancy, I could see it being a much bigger hit. I hope it's big for her and I love it, but it's not relatable or memorable lyrically.
so many Cali people stanning hard for this song just bc she's shouting out all of the (GP unknown) towns, cities, hoods etc. Fergie Ferg better get that ACCLAIM
