I guess Micah is probably one of the biggest Britney Spears fans on this board.
Starting tomorrow, you can choose 1 song from your requests and vote for it twice. The request rule is still 9 and the top 2 requests still count as 2 each.

DRL Special Report
Amerie
Wherever you go, Amerie is there. She didn't hit our chart until June 2002, but in the indie sessions she let down a few songs. This was years ago. Those indie sessions have helped her find a huge fanbase when she entered for the first time at #20 on the day Isyss entered our chart for the first time. So far, Amerie has had a string of hits on DRL. Her first was Why Don't We Fall In Love which spent 120+ days and hit #1 4 times. Then she participated in Nas's Rule which was from his Stillmatic album. It was a surprise hit when it got to 23 days and a peak of #4. She planned another solo song called Talkin To Me and that was off the hook. This song entered near the bottom of the top 30, and was an instant hit for her. When the video came out, she shot to #1 and had a big run there. She wrapped up with 231 days and 22 of them were at #1, yet the song entered DRL in August. This has spent the 2nd most days on the countdown of all-time, next to Ashanti's Baby. Her non-singles have done exceptionally well. I Just Died cracked open 34 days and a peak of #2. Can't Let Go went to #6 and 22 days. Her latest "Show Me" has spent 22 days and hit #1 once. She didn't stop there. Her collaboration with LL Cool J garnered her another #1 song on DRL, at the time Lil Romeo was rising to the occasion. In Amerie's short career on DRL, she has spent a whopping 526 days on the countdown so far, and 28 of those were at #1. She is currently the 3rd best R&B singer of all-time on DRL. Only Mya and Ashanti are ahead of her.

Situation
You will need to place as many votes as you want to for the songs on DRL in a poll I made.
In case of a tie, Britney Spears wins.

Due to craziness, I'm saving the special report on Britney for the end. Instead, I'll give you this:
DRL Special Report:
3LW
In 2001, they entered the chart. They were lucky enough to stop Dream's consecutive run at #1 with their hit "No More". That joint spent a total of 19 days at #1. The song spent 147 days on. Playas Gon Play followed up the same way, also with 147 days on and 19 days at #1. Gettin Too Heavy, No More Remix and Ocean combined for 33 days and peaks of nowhere near #1. Before their 2nd album, they joined forces with Lil Romeo and Nick Cannon for the Will Smith clasic "Parents Just Don't Understand". 4 days on and a peak of #17 was tough for them. They followed that collaboration with another, but this time it was a huge one. With a 3rd retired joint, 3LW was hot as they partnered up with Naughty By Nature garnering 50 days and 3@1.
So far, that is 381 days and 41 of those on top. They bounced back with a new style, a new sound, and a controversy. They were ready with a new song called "I Do" from their 2nd album "A Girl Can Mack". They spent 57 days on and reached #1 twice padding on to that massive total. Neva Get Enuf also was a huge hit for them. That song went 120 days on and 9@1. Their newest "Ghetto Love..." has so far spent 2 days and a peak of #26. They have now spent 560 days and has hit #1 a total of 52 times which matches Ashanti's "Baby" in days at #1.

You wanna know something strange? This is a report I got from Jen Harrison.
Evanescence's popularity is sparked by DRL fans in audience
Reports say that 100% of the fans in the audience who are with us each and every show say that they will buy at least 2 copies of Evanescence's album "Fallen" the day it hits stores. Jen also said this:
Jen:I just took a survey to decide if you will or won't buy Evanescence's album when it hits stores on the 4th of March. I asked 157,943 people that attend the live show each day and they all said yes. I can tell you this much, 400K of the album sales will come from the audience members. I will buy 2 for me and Stephanie who is a big fan of Evanescence. Also, it's her birthday on the 4th so I'll give it to her as a birthday gift. Aside from that, this album will sell like hotcakes.
So what will it take to please Evanescence fans more than Ashanti? It was reported that we will move our show to another stadium which holds 400,000 seats. It's like a concert for those who are interested. When Evanescence returns to DRL, we'll ask them about this.

Ed, you're not the only reason Counting Crows are high. On that poll, somebody else voted for them. Do you know?
That's funny though, because they were a one to watch.

Good Charlotte "The Anthem" (44, 2@1)
Falloffs:
John Mayer "Why Georgia" (2, 19)
Bowling For Soup "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" (18, 1@1)
Me:After the most hectic countdown of all-time, Coldplay seized #1 with a total of 4 votes. In total, 6 people voted and I'm sure Ed didn't vote for them, or did he? Anyway, we get back to normal as we kick off with Simple Plan.
30. Simple Plan "Addicted" (18, 10)+
29. Ashanti "Baby Remix" (49, 6@1)+
Me:Ashanti slowed down early on, but she flew forth. Did I mention we have 3 debuts all ready to go? The first is coming up after the next 2 songs. Who's ready for some Sailor Moon?
28. Sailor Moon "Carry On" (158, 22@1)-5
27. Jessica Simpson "I Never" (4, 23)+1
Me:Jessica Simpson climbs 1 to #27. With the #26 joint is our first debut. This is also her first entry to the countdown. Debuting at #26 today is India.Arie with "Can I Walk With You"
26. India.Arie "Can I Walk With You" (1, 26)DEBUT
25. Isyss "Hater" (6, 18)+2
Me:Isyss is strong! They climb 2 to #25 with Hater. Our 2nd debut is on the way. We know Nivea is debuting, but not here. Anyway, at #24 is Unwritten Law hanging on tightly.
24. Unwritten Law "Rest Of My Life" (36, 1@1)+
23. Finch "What It Is To Burn" (19, 8)-1
Me:Finch is having a hard time trying to hit #1. They drop another spot to #23. At #22 is Ashanti.
22. Ashanti "Movies" (37, 3@1)+3
21. Amerie "Show Me" (24, 1@1)+
Me:TLC is our 2nd debut today. BTW, that last one was Amerie. At #20 is TLC with their new joint "Hands Up".
20. TLC "Hands Up" (1, 20)DEBUT
19. 3LW "Ghetto Love And Heartbreak" (4, 14)-5
Me:3LW drop 5 to #19. At #18 is Jade Anderson making a 2 spot jump with Dive Deeper.
18. Jade Anderson "Dive Deeper" (27, 1@1)+2
17. Ashanti "Baby" (264, 52@1)+2
16. Lucy Woodward "Dumb Girls" (38, 2@1)-5
Me:That was Lucy Woodward at #16 down 5 spots. Before that, we had Ashanti climbing 2 to #17 with Baby. Our 2nd half begins with Counting Crows losing momentum.
15. Counting Crows & Vanessa Carlton "Big Yellow Taxi" (4, 4)-11
14. Ja Rule Featuring Ashanti "Mesmerize" (80, 10@1)-4
13. Jennifer Lopez Featuring LL Cool J "All I Have" (103, 8@1)-4

12. Stacie Orrico "Stuck" (17, 4)+6
11. Melanie Chisholm "Here It Comes Again" (6, 11)+2
Me:All you Melanie C fans want her on top don't you? You are 2 spots ahead. She could get her very first top ten DRL hit ever. I Turn To You went to #11, but stalled for 7 days and never rebounded. Ed, round up your Melaholics because you have a lot of work to do, especially against Norah Jones. The grammy nominated artist is blindsiding the countdown with her new joint inching up 2 spots.
10. Norah Jones "Come Away With Me" (3, 10)+2
9. Jade Anderson "Sugar High (Video)" (9, 3@1)-1
Me:Jade Anderson was nominated for 3 DRL International Awards and she won 2 of them. One was for Best Female Pop Video (Europe) and Best Female Overall Video (Europe). She lost to Amy Studt for Best New Artist (Europe). It seems that her 2 Global DRL Statuettes can boost her chances of going back to #1. At #8 is Christina Aguilera dropping 3 spots.
8. Christina Aguilera "Infatuation" (18, 5)-3
7. Evanescence "Bring Me To Life" (27, 8@1)-4
Me:Evanescence fans, you can't slack off now. Red Hot Chili Peppers have gotten ahead of your boys and girl. You need to push forth! At #6 is Jennifer Lopez making an 11 spot jump.

5. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Can't Stop" (15, 2)+2
Me:The moon is rising. Red Hot Chili Peppers jump 2 to #5 while Spice Girls drop 2 to #4.
4. Spice Girls "Holler" (104, 15@1)-2
3. Britney Spears "Born To Make You Happy (Video)" (7, 5@1)+3

2. Nivea "Laundromat (Video)" (1, 2)HOT SHOT DEBUT
1. Coldplay "Clocks 2.0" (4, 2@1)+
Me:Can we talk here? Coldplay is #1 for the 2nd day in a row. Will Nivea stop them? Can Britney, Spice, RHCP and J. Lo strike? How will Norah, Mel C and Isyss come to play?

Diana:This is Diana from Dream. I'll be your host today. Well, it looks like Coldplay has found a firm grip at #1. However, can you guess who's striking back? My group. Our joint "This Is Me Remix" makes a valiant return. Will it topple the competition? Also, there are no videos staying put except for one. We start with 3LW losing serious momentum.

22. Simple Plan "Addicted" (19, 10)+8
21. India.Arie "Can I Walk With You" (2, 21)+5

15. Jennifer Lopez Featuring LL Cool J "All I Have" (104, 8@1)-2

14. Lucy Woodward "Dumb Girls" (39, 2@1)+2
13. Evanescence "Bring Me To Life" (28, 8@1)-6
12. Isyss "Hater" (7, 12)+13
Diana:That was Isyss crushing the competition going up 13 big spots, and not even the jump of the day. Before that, we had Evanescence falling 6 spots to #13. At #11 is Melanie Chisholm holding still. This means we have a new #1.
11. Melanie Chisholm "Here It Comes Again" (7, 11)+ (Hold)
10. TLC "Hands Up" (2, 10)+10
Diana:Here's the premiere of Raphael's "Still Ray".
*plays video*
Diana:Mike wanted me to premiere that along with another one. We'll get to that after #8. Here's Coldplay falling from 1-9.
9. Coldplay "Clocks 2.0" (5, 2@1)-8
8. Jade Anderson "Sugar High (Video)" (10, 3@1)+1
Diana:Jade Anderson is holding on tight. She inches 1 to #8. The next joint is linked to Ashanti in a small way. We'll tell you after this premiere from Tyrese. Here's "How You Gonna Do Me Like That"(I don't know the actual title of the song. Is this it?)
*plays video*
Diana:At #7 is Jennifer Lopez. The connection here is that Ashanti wrote the lyrics for J. Lo's smash "Ain't It Funny Remix". Here's Loving You by J. Lo.

2. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Can't Stop" (16, 2)+3
1. Ashanti "Baby" (265, 53@1)+16 (Jump Of The Day)
Diana:That was Ashanti somehow getting back to #1 with Baby. This is the 53rd time she's topped with this song.
*break*
Diana:I wanna make something clear. Mike, come here.
Me:What?
Diana:Please remove "When I Get There" from the retirement home. We need to get our crown back, and it would take forever with This Is Me Remix.
Me:You want it? You got it.
*removes "When I Get There" from retirement home*
Me:Do you know what you are doing?
Diana:Trust me. I know. In fact, Ashanti says so.
Me:Huh?
Diana:Tell him.
Ashanti:I want competition for #1. Everybody else is easy pickens. Go ahead and bring back When I Get There. I will easily slaughter it.

Ed, rumors state that if a song stays still when all the others move around, the holder moves up 97% of the time.
