i thought so about Jon.. he looked/sounded/talked a lil out of charachter tbh..! i think its part of his charachter development for the events that are about to occur with him, i guess they're trying to make him a bit more authoritative and acting more like a grown man than a boy.
it DID make him more interesting for a change, so looks like he's gonna be great this season!
P.s. tbh, i thought alot of charachters sounded a lil different in the episode.. Brienne, Margery, Hound(though i REALLLY like the new him), Sansa, Cercei and Jamie, and even Shae(although that maybe part of her charachter devt. as well)
i think you're moving too fast and loose with Dany's storyline. there's a WHOLE LOT of stuff to happen between the current situation and that incident!! think about it really.. iirc there are atleast 3-5 pretty big moments between then and now.. the first of which, i believe we'll see around episode 5(
