You know what I mean, Bruno will always be a fan of retro style but I don't think we will hear that influence again in his next record the way we did in UJ, no more Treasure, locked out of heaven or UF kind of songs, and it will be stupid if he does it again.
This, Bruno will always love retro sounds and looks but he is not one to just Kepler doing the same thing. UJ and DW&H are completely different sonically, Bruno will not release an UJ 2.0 or an album filled with Treasures and Uptown Funk's that's just not the way he is.
Maybe the new song would give UF a boost as well. He should release it around the time of the AMAs, which he should sweep since they're based off of sales, streaming, and airplay. That means Uptown Funk and Bruno Mars should be nominated in a lot of categories, and he should win most of them he's nominated in as well.

I've been telling people Bruno is the new King of Pop and him being asked back to do the Super Bowl with NO new album out and within 2 years of his first appearance just further proves he is indeed the new King of Pop
Just imagine the lead single released in November, and then performing the new song & UF on the Super Bowl, the Slayage is gonna be major.
His records' sales boost the last he performed was the biggest in the history of the Super Bowl half time shows not even Katy Perry who had a bigger audience was able to top him.
I'll believe there's new single in November when I'll hear it in November... If he really secured the SB gig AGAIN with all the creative control surrounding it :toodunny: I wouldn't be surprised there'll be a delay... So I'll say new music in January......... maybe....
