Yes! Her 'I Believe' and 'I Will Always Love You' performances were praise worthy but the judges just brushed her off

Actually a personality is needed to win as well. Being an american idol is about being the full package and not only being able to sing loudly. Haley for the win!!!

Well, they get to release a full length album that we - the fans - can listen to and enjoy...? And who cares if she flops? At least we get to hear more music from her. Anyways, she's incredibly marketable so I'm sure Interscope will do lots of promotion for her. All she needs is a hit like Bleeding Love to record and she'll be fine.

And all the winners flop because most of them suck and shouldn't have won and probably got by because they catered to the horny preteen girl demographic - one that is notoriously fickle. They'll vote for you 1,000 times while you're on but can't be bothered to go get your album when it drops. Pia shouldn't try to capitalize on her American Idol alum status; instead, she should put that voice front-center and establish herself as an artist independent from the franchise.

Do y'all remember Season 4? I was a rabid Carrie fan but I also appreciated Vonzell Solomon, who totally came out of nowhere and transformed into the dark horse. There have been lots of fabulous black females on Idol who have tried to emulate Beyoncé but I think Vonzell was the one closest to Queen Bey when it came to performance and vocal stylings -- even if she was more cute and spunky than, say, fierce. And her head tone/falsetto notes were always absolutely beautiful.

The music industry already has an overpopulation of females right now so I'm not complaining about male contestants making it far. It's just that AI casts the WORST and most un-marketable male singers nowadays. I'm tired of all of these boring country/pop-rock cowboys winning every season now. They've all flopped and fell into the abyss. I mean, I literally had to sit there and think about who won AI last season because I couldn't remember. Lee was that irrelevant after the show. I mean, who the hell is voting for these snoozefests?

I remember the early seasons when pretty much every contestant was already a star. Now none of them are making a splash.

Lauren is irrelevant and no where near as good as Hayley. Hopefully Lauren or Lusk go home next week. They are the worst on the show.
