I'm reading the old thread and the whole process seems pretty interesting. You all seem to put a lot of effort into choosing the new mods. There's a top 20 and rounds, etc.

Good. That's why I agree with the idea of not promoting anybody right away. If you give it time, you'll weed out most of the applicants through natural selection of sorts.
