I think this challenge has made me realise that I've buried my head in the sand for the last several years and have no passion about worldly affairs unlike when I was a teen and was churning out social message songs every night.

I think hint #5 has to do with the judge's saves in the last four rounds, as someone pointed out earlier. Judges can save individually for the next three rounds, including this one. After that, two or more might have to agree to save someone?
I think hint #7 means we may have the finale before the top three if we decide to do that? Maybe Sam will offer the final four or five contestants the opportunity to have the final challenge then?
