You've all had 96 hours but it's not enough.

But 12 hours is enough to get something done from scratch?

Part of this tournament is, has and will always be about the time restrictions. If you can get something done in 12 hours because you have to, you can get something done over a 4 day period. As a host I want to be as understanding and as accomodating as possible but there have been so many issues with deadlines this season, more than any other season I've played in.

I'll give you all another day. But it will come at a cost. I haven't decided what it will be yet but there has to be something.

I think everyone wants/was just expecting me to give a deadline extension anyway, so I wouldn't worry about the last part.

I'll make a proper announcement in a bit. If you don't want any kind of negative adjustment to your score this week I would still strongly suggest submitting before the deadline, even if you know it's not your strongest work. We all saw what happened last week, Element was almost eliminated with a really great song just because of a late entry.

The next week will be very different. I won't reveal too much but you'll want to make it through this week. The comeback round will be next week, too.

Due to popular demand, the deadline has been extended for a further 24 hours. This will be the final extension. I'm not just referring to this round, this will be the final extension of the game. You all know when the deadlines are. You have three options from now on; plan around it and make it work, submit a late entry or drop out of the competition. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it has to be from now on.

If you submit between now and the original deadline, thank you. Your entry will be judged as normal. If you submit within the next 24 hours after the original deadline, you will receive a penalty. I haven't decided what this is yet but it won't be as severe as the general late penalty... perhaps your HitList score will only be 95% of your true score for the round. If you submit after the extended deadline, both the extended penalty and standard late penalties will apply.
