What song on 21 exactly is more impressive and superior than for instance Bey's performance in Rocket? Or Drunk in Love? Or Pretty Hurts?

Well, it's Bey's fault. The dual single release needs to end. I don't see why she can't just send her singles to all formats one at a time so she can give them the right promo treatment instead of having to chose this one over that one.

I still think there is a chance for XO though. Patience is key. Which is why I don't understand why she just didn't wait to release it until the spring.

I've never been a fan of her music I occasionally like som of her singles and when I first heard this album I was like wtf but now I like it a lot.

XO sounds like a massive smash. I don't think they should've done the dual releases either...
I love drunk in love and I'm sure is about to crossover and it'll prolly go at least top 20 on pop but XO just sounds anthemic.

Folks try too hard sometimes to appear ~unbiased and against the grain. Adele's vocals are beautiful and touching, but she's not an impressive vocalist -- expressive, yes; skilled with unique or high level abilities? No. I love her, but she's not able to deliver the various things that Bey can.

vocally for me 21 is more impressive but not sonically or artistically, but that's the point, Bey show's restraint vocally this time around and I love it.

4 was much more impressive vocally than 21 and any of Beyonce's other albums, but it lacked cohesiveness for me.

Anyways, I hate 21 personally, but I love the single choices.

21 = A Compilation of Adele's throaty belts

edit - I'm not a Adele hater btw she has one of the most beautiful voices but 19 was more impressive to me because she had better melodies, better songs, and she stayed in her range and wasn't throwing her throaty belts left and right

In what way did 4 lack cohesiveness? I hate that weak ass argument. It clearly chronicles the path of a relationship. The only song that doesn't fit is RTW. And tbh honest it was needed, cause IWH is too melancholic.
