Don't call Demi a Disney star when she is oh so much more!
But honestly who do you see her doing a remix with, I can't see any of these:
Britney
Rihanna
Katy
Gaga
Adele(wouldn't fit her voice, plus Adele is on vocal rest or some ****)
Ke$ha
Beyonce(even if it might get Bey's first top 10 this era )
I just can't see anyone really being on the remix besides Demi or Nicki. Then again, Kelly is a HUGE fan of Eminem and that would be pretty funny

I can't see Kelly ever agreeing to a remix, so thankfully we don't have to worry about it happening.

Let's think logical.
These won't happen :
Britney
Rihanna
Katy
Gaga
Ke$ha
Beyonce
Adele
And Demi won't happen as well. If the label decides to give a song a extra push they are going to look for someone relevent and a type of audience that kelly still needs to win, so they will move to a rapper.
Kelly loves Eminem, Ludacris, Flo Rida and Lil Wayne. So it will be one of those. Nicki might be a option as well.
If Lil Wayne or Eminem gets on this...... It will ****ing blow up and demi will have no effect on the song and that's a fact.
So if there is a remix it is going to be a rapper !!

yeah but hopefully not with WDKY
I could live with it, if it's happening in a live performance or anything...
I am still waiting for my Kelly/P!nk duet to happen.

No. Kelly would do it, but she's not going to remix an already made song, especially not one that already has a video and is set for release in two weeks or so. I could see her doing one from scratch with a favorite rapper, but she's above adding on a rapper to form a tacky ass remix a la Katy Perry.

That's true but Nicki has a huge stanbase that involves Rhythmic. And They are big buyers !! Why do you think that artist like Katy perry, britney spears run to rappers when they need that extra push ?

She's above ? So people like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Nicki Manaj, Avril Lavigne are under ? What the hell is wrong with adding a rapper to a song ? And don't act like you know kelly all so well, it's ignorant. Kelly never said that she wouldn't add a rapper to a song.

Katy is only adding it for a number 1 because her label is desperate as ****. I wouldn't compare what she does to what all those other people did.
Anyway, I can't see a rapper being featured on WDKY. Its unnecessary and wouldn't work anyway.

You can stop pretending that adding a rapper for a remix just to achieve higher sales and a higher chart position isn't tacky. I don't know everything about Kelly, but I can all but guarantee you that she doesn't want to do anything to harm her image she's worked so hard to build.
I DARE you to try telling me there aren't at least a small handful of people who lost a bit of respect for Britney, Rihanna, Katy, etc., when they added rappers to their songs for higher chart positions.
You should know Kelly isn't about chart positions, and we know people don't add rappers to pop songs for the artistic value they contribute.

Rihanna added Britney to get a #1 and Britney added Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj for a higher chart position as well. It's exactly the same thing.
Nicki Minaj is featured on a lot of other songs, but most of those are the original mixes, so they're entirely different.

It's when you do it for sales that it looks desperate, but what about the fans of both singers coming together and making a hot ass remix? Remember when having a remix was exciting and seeing what the other person brought to the table. Sure, in todays world right now when someone says "Remix" they think "trying to get that number 1" but it doesn't HAVE to be like that. Whats wrong with people wanting to hear something legit rather then always fan made

Nope. Katy has done this since E.T. for a specific reason. Her label wants her to break MJ's record and they will do whatever they can to do it. Whether its discounts, last minute remixes or whatever. At least Rihanna's and Britney's were a one time thing. Katy has done this 3 times already.

If, after a song has already peaked and people have already gotten to enjoy it, a singer wants to get someone to collaborate for a remix for people to further enjoy, that's fine. I just don't want to see it happening as it's climbing the charts. It just seems really tacky and desperate. There's no way around it.

Then we will wait till after it peaks
Plus, its not like I see Kelly going out and trying to get this done, I am just saying it would be nice to have an "official remix ft..." at least one time in her career rather then crappy fan made ones we always get.

To summarize my points, I'm all for collaborations if they're the original mix or if it's a fun remix on a song after the song has had its run on the charts, but if it's done as it is climbing the chart, it just comes across as desperate and classless.
