I want her to release a risky pop single that will not be a straight hit. If she did that and stuck by it and did music that she loves herself (which I am completely sure isn't generic **** pop considering Mayer is her boo) then I will applaud her and look at her as a legit musician. If not, either her single will do okay because the gimmicks are getting old or it will become a hit and I will lose faith in the GP

It honestly applies to anyone. Just because someone's in the public eye it isn't fair to hold them more accountable in regards to really old tweets.

And regarding Angel Haze, Angel used to say ignorant stuff all the time (I say this as someone who has stanned since 2012/3), but Angel has definitely matured. It's sad to see Angel once tweeted... That (especially as Angel was a victim of abuse), but...

Yeah I absolutely agree that it's stupid and people change, but people tend to react to those kind of comments very strongly, no matter how many years ago they were made.

But I think with Iggy it was a combination of that and her reluctance to speak out on racial issues herself now, or even acknowledge stuff she said (Correct me if I'm wrong!). She never really addresses stuff like that, whereas Angel's personal growth is a known thing, and Angel has spoke about it in songs (see: Cleaning Out My Closet, Black Dahlia).
