Hey Animals, I have an idea.
Obviously there's been a lot of discussion about whether Ke$ha's next release should be an EP or a full album, but I thought of something even better than that. Taylor Swift is one of the biggest artists of today, especially in the US, mainly because she's always had such a huge following of country music fans. What if, before Ke$ha's next album, she releases a non-album country mid-tempo single (probably produced by Dr. Luke)? I mean, she's from Nashville, and has country roots, and we've already heard her dabble with country music in "Goodbye", "Wonderland" and "Old Flames Can't Hold A Candle To You", and "Last Goodbye" and "Timber" to an extent.
It probably wouldn't do very well WW, but that wouldn't really matter. The point of the song would be to not only show a different side of Ke$ha, but to get Ke$ha a bigger country following in the US. It'd also fill the void between now and the album's release. Then when the real lead single drops (hopefully not another country song), and the album, she'll appeal to a bigger range of fans, including the massive country music fanbase, and her first week sales will hopefully be a
lot better than Warrior's. I'm not talking Taylor Swift big like over a million or anything crazy, but perhaps in the 150-200k range.
