She debuted in 1992 as part of the idol group Super Monkeys.

I think Checkmate 2 is coming this year, it has to be. I mean we got to vote on who we wanted her to collab with way back in 2015 so.

I know. I was more shocked that she's in the business for so long. I haven't been following her for a while, sans the summer/Olympic single. I stopped folllwing jpop religious ever since I stopped used Jpopcentral and AHS.

I hope so because the first one was amazing and served so many bops and allowed me to revisit some tracks that I've skipped over like Do or Die. Is Ayu on the list or Kuu to vote for possible collab?

You could have voted for anyone you wanted, the only restriction is that you could only write 3 names down.

iirc I voted for Ayu, Kuu and maybe Shinichi Osawa.

I think it's like an unwritten rule in Japan to like her or something, literally every Japanese person I know has never had anything negative to say about her. They best stan.

that's because Ayu refused in the past to be called an "idol" and well... Namie likes to live like one. not that I don't like it though, I think she's doing the right thing
