The last season of Dexter was literally one of the biggest letdowns in TV history imo. I couldn't believe it.

It's true that a lot of pop albums nowadays are just random collections of songs, but it was that way in the 90s too with a lot of bubblegum pop albums. And then you have pop albums that DO have a clear theme like Teenage Dream which sell terribly at first and need 10000 hit singles to sell well.

She did deserve that though (or at least a nomination). She gave great work in the first and second (especially first) season of True Blood. I thought True Blood was going to keep getting bigger and bigger with its awards prospects - this faith died when they snubbed Michelle Forbes's stunning work as Maryann in the second season. And then my hopes for the series were stabbed straight in the heart midway through Season 3. I still stuck around out of nostalgia for the first two.
