Season 1 finalist Justin Guarini has opened a new one-man show titled Lovesick, in which the singer recounts some juicy tidbits from his life in-between covers of popular and classic songs...in New Hope, Pennsylvania...

In one moment during the show, Guarini admits to having had a serious thing with Season 1 champ Kelly Clarkson. Their relationship apparently began on the set of their hastily-filmed beach movie, From Justin to Kelly, and ended when her career took off while his stagnated. In Lovesick, Guarini convey his heartbreak over Clarkson with a quiet rendition of Oleta Adams’s “Get Here,” a song that had become his signature during Season 1 of American Idol.

Guarini also admitted to romancing Season 1′s fourth-place finisher Tamara Gray, although the relationship was apparently less intense than his connection with Clarkson. Of course, all three are now married with children: Kelly to talent manager Brandon Blackstock, Gray to Color Me Badd singer Sam Watters, and Guarini to high school sweetheart Reina. I loved it when she she sang it in Germany just for one girl, who was sick. Cancer if I remember correctly. Besides Kelly having a golden heart, she gave us another stunning acoustic performance.
